The number BB-39 refers to the USS Arizona that was destroyed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and remains where she sank as a memorial to the people killed during the battle

The number BB-37 refers to the USS Oklahoma. This battleship helped protect American convoys crossing the Atlantic late in First World War, but was sunk during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and never returned to service
